Hooray for the AGH!

I got Josefina back from AGH today. She took a 2 day detour thorugh UPS "EXCEPTION" lost in the warehouse land, but she finally made it here.


First thing I noticed, new box stickers. This is probably only exciting to me, so we will move on...



The patient, Josefina #1. THEY ONLY REPLACED HER EYES! So yes they still do it. She had a tiny scuff on her nose that is still there.


Comparing her to brand new Josefina. Yup you can REALLY see the differance. They are in gowns so the clothes don't make them look differant.(The new one has never been to the AGH)

I am SOOOO HAPPY with AGH! They also tightened her limbs, cleaned her, combed and rebraided her hair and left her neck strings. This was all at no charge too!

I am so ecstatic, because this is my mom's doll, and she is really attached to her the way she always has been.

I dropped her off at AGPLA to send her in too, I didn't send her by mail. [img]biggrin.gif[/img] If they tell you it can't be done, I am telling you it CAN. YAY YAY YAY!

Josefina looks great! I sent probably at least 4 or 5 dolls in last summer for eye replacement and they replaced just the eyes and also cleaned them and tightened their limbs. All free of charge. I'm always sad when someone has a bad experience with the doll hospital but I think they usually go above and beyond what they are asked.

I am wondering, mine had not only silver eye but also lazy eye. The socket was broken, maybe thats why I got a new head?
